Norco Shop Press with a 12-ton capacity includes a hand pump with a 5-7/8" ram stroke and offers a working space from 5" to 38-1/4". This standard press, made in the USA, is designed for straightening, bending, and pressing applications, as well as for the removal and installation of gears, bearings, and bushings. This unit features a manual-pump power unit with a "Parkerized" pump piston, ram, and extension screw to inhibit rust from entering the hydraulic system, and this power unit is bearing-mounted for horizontal movement on the head channel. This unit also includes shielded, heavy-duty ram return springs and a pair of bed plates, though Norco's arbor plates (78000) and bearing puller (78032) can also be used on this press. This model press also features a zero-distortion, heavy-duty structural steel frame with an 8-position bed for an adjustable work height. Model 78022D pictured with same basic construction.
